The idea, Guyana Tapestry began with questions about our people: like where do Guyanese move to, what do we carry with us, what changes, what stays and how does the diaspora remain connected to community, culture and home? That curiosity still shapes our work. We partner on projects that document culture and community, make research easier to understand, preserve lived experiences and bring public issues closer to the people affected by them.
