The 57th West Indian American Day Parade on Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, New York led by Freedom Boss, owner and CEO of Freedom Family Entertainment in collaboration with the Government of Guyana’s One Guyana initiative. The first of its kind effort brought out thousands of Guyanese from all across North America, Europe, the Caribbean and the home country itself, Guyana.
The 24th Guyana Folk Festival and Family Fun Day hosted by the Guyana Cultural Association of New York Inc. in collaboration with Guyana Consulate and the Government of Guyana’s One Guyana initiative. Folk Festival featured cultural presentation performed by popular Guyanese artistes and dancers and attracted hundreds of Guyanese-Americans from several states across the Unites States and Canada.
The Guyana Diaspora Job Fair in Queens, NY. was hosted by the Private Sector Commission and the Government of Guyana. The job fair aimed to educate the diaspora about some of the job and investment opportunities availing themselves in Guyana now and provided resources for how to exploit those opportunities.
The 3rd Caribbean Investment Forum 2024, Georgetown, Guyana hosted by the Caribbean Export Development Agency, the European Union and the Government of Guyana. The CIF aimed to attract investments that help to fast track the Caribbean’s transition to a greener and smarter regional economy. It promoted the Caribbean as a prime investment destination and fostered connections between investors and businesses.
The Guyana Association of Georgia (GAOG) hosts the 30th Annual Family Fun Day in Lithonia, GA. to celebrate Guyana’s 58th Independence Anniversary. Thousands of Guyanese from across the U.S. converged to celebrate.
The Caribbean and Floridian Association, Inc. (CAFA, Inc.) in collaboration with the City of Kissimmee hosts the Annual Caribbean Fusion Festival. The festival celebrates the roles and contributions of Caribbean nationals in the U.S. and attracts thousands of Floridians and out-of-state patrons alike.
